Drive Square was founded by Konstantin Sizov, a technology executive, in 2001 as a company that developed and sold unique patented in-vehicle driving simulators. Building Virtual Reality (VR) - based simulators required electronic, mechanical, and software components to work together.
We have worked with VR technologies since 2001 and IoT technologies since 2010, designing Bluetooth-based sensors for our driving simulators. Outsourced manufacturing has helped us scale.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we pivoted to share our hardware and software development experience with other customers who needed help - D2 Engineering was born.
